Housing Overview

For a brief overview of housing options for youth in care, including: NYCHA (public housing), Section 8, Supportive Housing, and NY NY III (New York, New York Three), click here. The presentation includes brief descriptions, eligibility information, and data on the number of youth placed in each kind of housing during the first half of 2008.

Anyone applying for NY NY III supportive housing must complete form 2010(e). The form must be completed by trained staff. For a general idea of what information is required on the form, click here.
